Production Services in St. Moritz & the Engadin
St. Moritz and the Engadin are among the most requested shooting locations in the Alps, and they are our home ground. Gian-Andrea Albin and David Müller have both lived and worked in St. Moritz and the Engadin for many years and know the valley, its people and its locations inside out. AM Production brings international brands, agencies and production companies to the valley and takes care of everything on the ground.
Why shoot in the Engadin
At 1,800 metres, the Upper Engadin has dependable snow, clear winter light and a striking range of landscapes within a short drive: frozen lakes, glaciers, larch forests, mountain passes, traditional Engadin villages and the glamour of St. Moritz itself. Few places in the Alps offer this much variety with this kind of infrastructure, including its own airport in Samedan and direct rail and road links.

Frequently asked questions
When is the best season to shoot in St. Moritz?
Winter (December to March) brings snow and the frozen lakes. Summer (June to September) offers green valleys, hiking scenery and long days. Autumn is a hidden gem, when the larch trees turn golden in October.
Can we shoot on the frozen lake?
Usually in January and February, once the ice is officially cleared. It requires a permit and coordination with the local authorities. We organise both.
How do we get crew and equipment to the Engadin?
By road via the Julier or Maloja Pass, by train, or by air via Engadin Airport in Samedan. We plan unit moves and equipment transport from Zürich, Milan or wherever your production starts.
